Yesterday while I was doing my laundry, more on that later, it occured to me that blogging is nothing new to me. About 4 1/2 years ago (WOW, has it really been THAT long ago?) during my freshman year at college, i jumped onto the craze of Xanga. Stop. Think about it. Wasn't that basically blogging? Everyone stopped using Xanga and jumped on Facebook back when it was first starting out.
Uh. Interesting huh? Anyway.
So jumping to doing laundry... that's what i spent all day doing.
Not that I am complaining in the least bit. I enjoy doing it... well, for the most part anyway. I did my sheets, bedspread, pillowcases, pillow topper. I added some baking soda in with them to brighten up the white. I hate that they get so dingey so fast, but I do love my white sheets. There isn't much more in life that I enjoy more than a bed of fresh clean sheets. aaaahhhhhhh. I just sleep SO much better. It is literally a pillowcase/envelope to me. I slip right in and barely move! (that's NOT what she said... hahahaa)
I also did my little bit of clothes that needed to be washed as well. I don't even really mind doing those as long as I can put them up right away before they wrinkle in the basket.
Enough on that. I think I have bored you enough on doing laundry. So GO! enjoy your weekend... it is Friday afterall! I am headed to Athens this weekend to hang out with some of my girls, shop, & eat too much. What's new? hah

starting off with a vent!
*ROAR*
It is so frustrating!! I applied to apply for a job. Yes, it sounds weird but they try and match up your skills to see if you are even applicable for the job. Okay. I applied to apply on my lunch break.
*pause* i am currently working a temporary job as a receptionist at a CPA/tax office. yeah... it is as exciting as it sounds. but it is easy work.
*play*
I check my e-mail a moment ago and it get that "you are not eligable for this job". It says I need at least 6 months of retail experience to apply for this job. WHAT?!?! I HAVE DESIGNER SKILLS! I WORKED MY BUTT OFF IN SCHOOL TO BE A DESIGNER. WHY WON'T YOU LET ME DO THAT?!
I believe the job is for the local Badcock's Furniture store here in town. I was actually very surprized when my sister told me about the job I became very excited. Not because it is my dream job to work in a furniture store in this small town, but it would be a slightly great step in the right direction of my future career in design. But, oh well!! This economy is starting to put me in a very bad mood altogether.
SO! On a much brighter note, I might be going to California soon! It is just to visit some family friends, and they would be paying for the trip out there and everything. It would be just me and my dad going. I am so hoping we are able to go. Money is sqeaking around at our house right now. My sister's transmisson went out on her car and isn't helping to pay for it. It has put my dad in a pinch and a slightly bad moon lately. Not that I blame him... $2000 right now is in no way easy to come about... especially right now.
YEA! California!! Let's hope it will be my little ray of sunshine to brighter up my life!
